Language education options: A symposium for families

Aimed at families interested in successful language education for their primary and secondary students, the CLIL symposium is an opportunity to find out more about Content and Language Integrated Learning – a key strategy of the Victorian Government’s Vision for Language Education.

Presenters are Dr Simone Smala (University Queensland) and Ms Maria Gindidis (Monash University). Dr Smala will present information about the CLIL programs that operate in 12 Queensland state high schools and Ms Gindidis the immense cognitive benefits for students participating in CLIL learning.

Parents, educators and community members are invited to join the symposium to share their aspirations and information about bilingual education in Victorian schools.
